Fibroblast

It is an advanced non-invasive procedure new to the beauty industry in North America. Using plasmaenergy directed through a plasma pen, results are fast with minimal downtime and comparable to surgery in skin lifting and tightening.

The plasma pen works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge. The charge instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The procedure is low risk and much more affordable than your typical surgery.

Benefits include: No cutting, No stitches, very little downtime, no injectable anesthesia required, minimal side effects, no risk of injury, and instant results. Numbing cream applied before service.

Carbon crusts (little brown spots) will appear immediately after treatment. In a week’s time the spots will fade and the skin will continues to produce collagen for several weeks after tightening. After 6 weeks, a second treatment may be required to get desired results but it may not be needed.

iCandy and Company’s creator has been a Fibroblast Technician for over three years and was one of the first professionals trained in the United States and the first in Georgia. Fibroblast has been around for about 8 years and has been proven safe and extremely effective all around the world.

Clients are being informed that fibroblast can’t be treated on people of darker skin tones. This is not true. Here at iCandy and Company we have treated numerous clients with no bad results with a special protocols. Call and ask us how we can help you.

F.A.Q.

Does its hurt?

There is discomfort however a topical numbing cream is applied 25 minutes before treatment so most clients are able to tolerate the pain.

What are the side effects?

There are little brown marks called carbon crusts which are visible for up to 7 days after treatment. They may itch and it is imperative to apply a post treatment cream and to not itch the skin. Mild swelling and redness may occur for up to 2 weeks, and after 6 weeks the new skin is visible with final results.

How many treatments will I need?

This is determined at your consultation. This technique does not over-tighten the skin and some troublesome areas may require 2-3 treatments for fantastic results, although many people are very happy with just 1 treatment.

How long do the results last?

Results typically last 2-4 years although if you care for your skin and eat well, drink water, etc, results can be longer than this. It depends on your age and lifestyle, but 2-4 years is average.

Is this considered a risky procedure?

Not at all. This is a very low risk procedure. Minimal side effects and no injectable anesthesia and cutting into the skin. The plasma pen is designed to shut off immediately if it touches the skin (the technique never allows full contact with the skin, it hovers just a few millimeters above the skin).

However, you must age 18 or older to receive treatment and certain medical conditions are contraindicated to receive this therapy.

How long is the procedure?

One treatment area lasts around 45-90 minutes up to 3 hours for combination areas.
